Hello Hippo - June Print of the Month

This is a hand-pressed block print. The design is first hand drawn, transferred to a block. I then carve it out, ink and press onto paper one at a time.

Because this process is done entirely by hand, there are variations to each print, which is part of the beauty of block prints.

This paper is approximately 4x6 inches.
